In the foreseeable future, thanks to GameMT, people will have the chance to acquire the E5 MODX portable device, which will feature a detachable modular display and a Mediatek Helio P60 chipset.
GameMT continues to surprise retro gamers with its uniquely designed devices. This time, it has introduced the E5 MODX console — a deeply modified version of the E5 model released in 2024.
The new device features a detachable modular display with a resolution of 1024×768. It can be replaced with a MagSafe connector, allowing modern smartphones to be connected to the console's controller via Bluetooth.
The device is equipped with an MTK6771 Helio P60 chipset, has 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The screen is attached with magnets and can be removed using a special mechanism, allowing other accessories to be connected.
It is currently unknown whether there is a physical connection between the display and the controller or whether pairing is done exclusively via Bluetooth — as well as when pre-orders will open and how long it will take until release.
