Jack Quaid, known for his role as Hughie in the series "The Boys", has stated that he would like to star in the BioShock adaptation. In an interview with Collider, the actor admitted that it is one of his favorite games and he is ready to do anything to get into the project.
"I've said it before and I'll say it again: BioShock. I would give anything to star in the BioShock adaptation. I don't even know what character I would want to play... I would just like to participate at least a little bit."
Interest in game adaptations among the actors of "The Boys" is becoming a noticeable trend. Earlier, Karl Urban, who played Butcher, got the role of Johnny Cage in the movie "Mortal Kombat 2", which will be released in theaters on May 6. In addition, he expressed a desire to play John Marston in a potential adaptation of Red Dead Redemption, although such a project has not yet been announced.
As for the BioShock adaptation itself, producer Roy Lee recently confirmed that the project is still in development, and filming may begin in 2027, if there are no further delays. Previously, production had already been postponed due to the employment of director Francis Lawrence, who is working on other projects, including the prequel to "The Hunger Games". Thus, Jack Quaid has enough time to draw the attention of Netflix.
