Queen Marika and the God-Devouring Serpent in Leaked Footage from Elden Ring Adaptation Set
Filming for the Elden Ring movie is in full swing, and the first leaks are already sparking discussions.
New footage from the set of A24's Elden Ring adaptation has surfaced online. In the photos and videos shared by user UnBoxPHD, fans spotted Queen Marika, the God-Devouring Serpent, and Kit Connor.
Little is known about the adaptation itself yet, but these leaks already suggest a possible structure for the film. Marika's appearance may indicate flashbacks or a storyline related to the past of the Lands Between. In the game, she plays a central role in the world's mythology and the events preceding the main story, but does not appear in her original physical form.
The Elden Ring film will be directed by Alex Garland, known for "Ex Machina," "Annihilation," and "Civil War." The cast includes Kit Connor, Ben Whishaw, Cailee Spaeny, Nick Offerman, Tom Burke, Havana Rose Liu, Sonoya Mizuno, Jonathan Pryce, Emma Laird, and others. The adaptation is scheduled to premiere on March 3, 2028.
