Currently, the information remains officially unconfirmed.

Nacon appears to be going through one of the toughest periods in its history. According to the French publication Origami, the company is preparing to close Big Bad Wolf studio — the creators of Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss and Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong. The decision is allegedly related to Nacon's attempts to deal with the consequences of bankruptcy proceedings, which previously involved the company itself and its subsidiary studio Cyanide, which owns Big Bad Wolf.

Currently, the information remains officially unconfirmed, however, the source has previously published reliable information about Nacon's internal problems. It was Origami that first reported the impending closure of Spiders studio, known for GreedFall, a day before the official announcement.

It is reported that the problems affected not only Big Bad Wolf. Another Nacon subsidiary studio — Kylotonn — allegedly faced a wave of layoffs. It is still unknown whether the situation will be limited to layoffs or if the studio will also face closure.
