First images of Persona 6 characters leaked online - insider confirms authenticity

The first images of Persona 6 were leaked online by employees of an outsourced animation studio that worked with the game's materials. According to insiders, the culprit of the leak has already been found and fined 100,000 yuan (about one million rubles).

The published slides show a young man with blond hair and a "bowl cut" hairstyle, as well as a girl with black and red hair. Both characters are dressed in school uniforms. The concept art fully matches the text descriptions that were previously circulated among insiders.

Insider lolilolailo from the ResetEra forum confirmed the authenticity of the materials. According to him, the blond is indeed the main character of Persona 6. The girl's name is Yoko Kusakabe, but she is not the second playable protagonist. This contradicts previous rumors, although the insider did not specifically clarify whether this means that the game will still not have two main characters.

The appearance of concept art has once again sparked discussions about the imminent announcement of Persona 6. Previously, insiders who published text descriptions of the characters claimed that Atlus might unveil the game this summer — during Summer Game Fest or Xbox Games Showcase. However, the company's plans may change due to the preparation of the Persona 4 Revival remake, which is also expected to be released in 2027.
