Evercade Nexus - a Portable Console with Physical Cartridges - Gets an Overview Video

Thanks to a new video, retro gamers got a closer look at the Evercade Nexus portable console, for which they will be able to build an extensive collection of game cartridges.

Blaze Entertainment has published a new overview video dedicated to the Evercade Nexus portable console. In the video, the team showed the device in action and provided additional information about Eversync — a feature that allows playing with another Nexus via a wireless connection.

Sean Cleaver, Evercade's Head of Marketing, began by discussing the console's capabilities. He noted that it can even run 64-bit projects, such as Tomb Raider, using the Evercade cartridge line. The combination of these games with comfortable ergonomics, a large screen, and wireless audio support provides gamers with a unique way to play and collect their favorite past games.

The Evercade Nexus features a 5.89-inch IPS screen (840×512 resolution, 500+ nits brightness), two analog sticks, a D-pad, classic buttons, rear bumpers and triggers, textured grips, a quad-core processor (1.5 GHz), 4 GB of RAM, Wi-Fi 6 (5 GHz), and a 5000 mAh battery (over 5 hours of battery life).

The device's dimensions and weight are: width — 21.5 cm, height — 11.1 cm, depth — 3.4 cm, weight — 410 grams. The console comes with the Banjo-Kazooie Double Pack cartridge, which includes Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie on a single physical medium.

Currently, the standard Evercade Nexus can be pre-ordered for $199.99 (14,179 rubles), and the Nexus 64 version for $229.99 (16,306 rubles). Deliveries and the release of Evercade Nexus are scheduled for October 2026.
