Developers continue to work on new content for the RTS.

The creators of the real-time strategy Broken Arrow spoke about future plans for the game and shared their impressions of the release of the Baltic Battalion DLC.

They were incredibly pleased to see the positive community reaction. According to the developers, they conceived the DLC as a “relatively small release,” but its impact on the game and community activity exceeded their expectations:

New hybrid deck-building capabilities, a strong emphasis on infantry gameplay, and fresh tactical combinations brought many players back to the game and gave us valuable insight into how players want to expand their armies in the future.

Currently, a gameplay patch is being prepared for Broken Arrow, with its release expected in the next few weeks:

It will bring a number of features and balance changes currently being tested on the PTE to production, including various unit reworks and gameplay adjustments. We try to approach this with some caution – improving the game in a way that doesn't break the campaign, scenarios, other single-player content, and the basic understanding of how the game works.

The authors of Broken Arrow also continue to work on the next add-on, which is dedicated to a new Russian specialization. They clarified that, unlike the Baltic Battalion, a larger content release is planned for it, including:

  • A large number of new units.
  • Several new maps.
  • A completely new campaign (it will be shorter than the current campaign from the main version of the game, but its events will unfold in new locations).
  • Additional single-player content.
