Ninja Theory Renames Hellblade 2, and There's a Reason Why
Microsoft and Ninja Theory unexpectedly changed the official title of Hellblade 2. The game is now called Hellblade II: Senua's Saga instead of the previous Senua's Saga: Hellblade II.
The change was noticed by SteamDB users. At first glance, the rearrangement of words in the title seems minor, but it sparked active discussion among players.
The reason turned out to be practical. Due to the previous title, the first and second parts of the series appeared separately in digital service catalogs. The first game from 2017 was released under the title Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice and was listed under the letter "H," while the sequel was under the letter "S."
After the renaming, both games will be located next to each other in Steam, Xbox Game Pass, and other service libraries, ensuring a more logical collection structure.
Thus, Microsoft decided to bring the names of the games in the series to a unified format a year after the sequel's release.
