Owlcat Games studio returned to Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader and introduced the story expansion The Infinite Museion about Necrons. It includes not only new content but also expands gameplay mechanics:
This is the third story expansion, where you will enter the legendary vault of Trazyn the Infinite himself. Search for rare artifacts, enhance your capabilities with augmentations, and choose whether to follow the plans of one of the galaxy's most famous collectors or try to thwart them.
A new companion, Tech-Priest Manipulus, has appeared in Rogue Trader. This support specialist relies on unique enhancements and technological abilities.
In addition, the “augmentation” mechanic (a new layer of character progression) was introduced: players will be able to install augments that will provide additional tactical opportunities. However, augments will have not only advantages but also disadvantages, so players will have to adapt.
