The report states that Sony is allegedly considering postponing the launch of the new console from 2027 to 2028 or even 2029. There is no official confirmation of this information yet, but such forecasts seem quite plausible given the rising costs of electronics manufacturing.

One of the main reasons cited is the increased cost of components related to artificial intelligence technologies. The growing demand for such components puts pressure on the entire industry, and Sony, according to experts, has not been able to completely avoid the consequences of this trend.
