id Software Names Release Time for Revelations Expansion for DOOM: The Dark Ages
Only a few days left until the launch of the story DLC.
The release of the story expansion Revelations for the shooter DOOM: The Dark Ages is approaching. id Software and Bethesda Softworks have published the release roadmap.
The Revelations DLC is expected to be released on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 7:00 PM Moscow time.
In the new chapter, the protagonist will be wounded and find himself in a terrifying purgatory. He will have to uncover mysteries and use a chain spear in combat:
New levels with more complex puzzles, new demons, and secrets await you. This expansion will open up a new dimension of combat for you. Wielding the deadly chain spear, experienced Slayers will master an amazing combat system: their strength and agility will be unmatched… if they show proper skill.
The developers of DOOM: The Dark Ages also noted that the DLC includes the "Purgatorium 3.0" mode, which features expansion content: 3 maps, new demons, fully upgraded new weapons, and more.
