"Animal Kingdom" Expansion for the "Earth" Board Game Prepares for Pre-Order in Russia

Next week, Russian-speaking fans of the "Earth" board game will have the opportunity to pre-order the "Animal Kingdom" expansion. The "Natural Disasters" and "Abundance" expansions, the "Fauna Tree" accessory, and a set with Kickstarter bonuses will also be available for purchase.

The “Lavka Igr” publishing house announced that on July 8, 2026, pre-orders will open for the Russian version of the “Animal Kingdom” expansion for the “Earth” board game.

“Animal Kingdom” will be available for 2990 rubles, the “Natural Disasters” expansion for 790 rubles, a combo lot of these two items for 3490 rubles, “Fauna Tree” for 790 rubles, the base game for 3990 rubles, the “Abundance” expansion for 2990 rubles, Kickstarter expansions from the previous campaign for 2490 rubles, a set of original playmats for 5990 rubles, and a combo lot of the base game and two expansions for 9490 rubles.

“Earth” is a card-engine building board game for 1–5 players. During the game, participants must create their own island — a 4 × 4 field that will become a self-sufficient source of growth.

Thanks to a large number of unique cards and combinations, each game allows participants to discover new connections and ways of interaction. The main goal is to score as many victory points as possible. The game ends at the end of the round in which one of the participants completes their island by placing 16 cards on their field.

“Animal Kingdom” adds a separate deck of animal cards, from which one common card is drawn for everyone, and 1–2 cards are dealt to each player to choose from 4 offered. Animal figures are also introduced into the game, and common supplies are replenished with new resources (sprouts and shoots).

Each animal card is double-sided: one side represents a common ability for all, the other — the unique nature of a specific animal with its conditions and habits. These cards are located separately from the field, in the player's personal zone, and are activated only by leaf tokens.

“Natural Disasters” is a small expansion with an interaction mechanism that allows players to interfere with opponents using various effects. Throughout the game, each participant can play no more than two natural disaster cards. The effects of these cards can apply to a specific player or to all players (including or excluding the player who played the card).

The preliminary delivery date for these items to the warehouse is expected in the autumn of 2026.
