The Marvel Studios "X-Men" reboot will feature Cyclops, Jean Grey, Emma Frost, Rogue, Storm, Professor X, and Magneto. This was reported by insider Apocalyptic Horseman, who previously worked for Nexus Point News.
“Since we're talking about 'X-Men' and people have started asking, here are the characters that, to my knowledge, will definitely appear in the film: Cyclops, Jean Grey, Emma Frost, Rogue, Storm, Professor X, and Magneto.”
Apocalyptic Horseman emphasized that he only listed the heroes whose appearance he could personally confirm. According to him, this is far from the complete cast of the film. In addition, the insider heard about Beast and Angel, but cannot yet confirm their participation.
Marvel Studios has not yet announced any actors, but the list aligns well with casting rumors from recent months. Sadie Sink, whose unnamed character will debut in "Spider-Man: A New Day," is most often associated with the role of Jean Grey. For the role of Emma Frost, insiders have named Sydney Sweeney, Margot Robbie, and Sabrina Carpenter, and for Rogue — Odessa A'zion and Indi Navarrette. The latter confirmed that she did indeed meet with the director of the new "X-Men," Jake Schreier, but did not disclose the topic of their conversation.
For the role of Professor X, according to insiders, Patrick Wilson and Bill Skarsgård are being considered, while Beast has been linked to Peter Claffey and Charles Melton. However, probable candidates for the roles of Cyclops, Storm, and Angel have not yet been named. The situation with Magneto seems the most certain: several informants claim that Adam Driver has already been cast as Erik Lehnsherr.
