The game is more demanding on hardware than Silent Hill f.

KONAMI has published the PC system requirements for Silent Hill: Townfall. With less than two months until the game's release, users can now assess what hardware will be needed to run the new horror title from Scottish studio Screen Burn (formerly known as No Code).

Like the previously released Silent Hill f, the new game uses the Unreal Engine 5, but the hardware requirements turned out to be noticeably higher.

To run the game at minimum settings, a 64-bit version of Windows 11, an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or Intel Core i7-8700K processor, 16 GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Super or AMD Radeon RX 6600 graphics card will be required. With this configuration, the developers promise performance at 1080p and 30 frames per second at low graphics settings.

The recommended configuration is significantly more demanding. For comfortable gaming at high settings in 4K resolution at 30 frames per second, an AMD Ryzen 7 5700X or Intel Core i7-9700K, 32 GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 or AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT graphics card will be needed. This assumes the use of DLSS, FSR, or TSR image scaling technologies in Balanced mode.

In both cases, the game will require 75 GB of free storage space and DirectX 12 support.

Compared to Silent Hill f, Townfall appears to be more demanding in almost all key parameters. The most noticeable difference is the increase in recommended RAM to 32 GB versus 16 GB for the previous game in the series. In addition, the new installment requires a more powerful graphics card and 25 GB more free disk space. Processor requirements have also increased slightly, although the difference here is not as significant.
