For Warhammer: Necromunda, a set with Escher house matriarchs and Phyrr Cats was shown

Fans of the tabletop game Warhammer: Necromunda had the opportunity to check out "Underhive Journal: Escher - House of Blades," as well as a new Escher house set containing miniatures of matriarchs and Phyrr Cats.

The developers of the tabletop game Warhammer: Necromunda presented new miniatures dedicated to House Escher, as well as the first in a series of "Underhive Journals."

The "Escher Matriarchs & Phyrr Cats" set adds several gang champions with various exotic weapons to the squad, as well as a pair of fierce Phyrr Cats that provide additional protection for the leaders. The gang queen looks impressive in a long royal cloak and with a power axe, flanked by five gang matriarchs, one of whom wears a Phyrr Cat skin.

They can be used as gang leaders, champions, and pets according to the rules from the "Gangs of the Underhive" book or as alternative options from "Underhive Journal: Escher – House of Blades."

"House of Blades" is the first of a new type of Necromunda supplement, adding rules and faction information in regular softcover journals. This book, for example, gives House Escher two new types of gang rosters: "Wild Hunts," which prefer menageries of deadly creatures, and "Chemical Cults," which produce many of the poisonous toxins used by their comrades.

These alternative rosters offer players a new look at their faction, using more limited compositions and equipment lists, allowing for a stronger focus on their specialization.

The "Underhive Journal" also adds new campaign content (faction-specific): players will be able to fight for territories that reflect their gang, take on side quests appropriate to their skills, and choose from an entirely new list of "Gang Tactics." Each of the great houses will have its own journal.
