Crowd Games to Release Board Game "Kingsport: A Guidebook": A New City on the Lovecraftian Route

Users will once again be able to immerse themselves in the Lovecraft universe, as sales of the board game "Kingsport: A Guidebook" are set to begin in 2027. This time, participants will have to create ideal routes through the gloomy city not only for tourists but also for cultists.

Crowd Games publishing house announced that it will release a continuation of its roll-and-write "Guidebooks" series set in the Lovecraft universe, created by Daniil Zaitsev and Matvey Chistyakov. The board game, designed for 1–4 players, is titled "Kingsport: A Guidebook".

Previously, players have already charted routes through Arkham and battled the Great Old Ones, and also managed to visit Innsmouth and challenge deep-sea creatures.

Kingsport is a remarkable gloomy town. Gamers will once again have to arm themselves with markers and create ideal routes using dice rolls, but now not only for tourists but also for cultists.

More precisely, players need to build two routes through the foggy quarters simultaneously, hide frightened tourists in shelters so that cultists don't drive them mad, and also remember to collect magical artifacts. At the end of the game, a ritual must be performed: either earn additional points or lose some tourists.

The box (which, by the way, can also fit "Arkham" and "Innsmouth") contains four cults of varying difficulty, six rituals, eight objective cards, and eight fog cards that set the initial conditions — a multitude of unique combinations will ensure high replayability.

The start of sales for "Kingsport: A Guidebook" is scheduled for early 2027.
