Wolfenstein (2009) Remaster to be Announced at QuakeCon 2026 - Rumor
The shooter's release will coincide with the announcement.
Rumors about the possible return of Wolfenstein (2009) are gaining popularity online. The reason for the discussions was recent changes in the Steam database, noticed by SteamDB users.
According to the published information, the game's original release date field was removed, and a Steam Deck Verified status appeared. However, Wolfenstein (2009) itself remains unavailable in all digital stores – the game was removed from Steam back in 2014, shortly before the release of Wolfenstein: The New Order.

These changes specifically led to speculation that Bethesda is preparing a re-release or remaster of the shooter from Raven Software. Many consider QuakeCon 2026, which will take place from August 6 to 9, as the most likely platform for the announcement.
It is also possible that the changes in SteamDB may be related to Valve's internal testing and improved Steam Deck compatibility, rather than the preparation of a remaster.
