Marvel compiled a list of must-watch movies and series before "Avengers: Doctor Doom"

To prepare for the new crossover, viewers are offered to watch 14 films and one series.

Disney+ has published a list of 15 movies and series to watch before the premiere of "Avengers: Doctor Doom". The selection covers different eras of Marvel – from the first "X-Men" to "Fantastic Four: First Steps".

The official list includes:

• "X-Men" (2000);
• "X2" (2003);
• "Captain America: The First Avenger" (2011);
• "The Avengers" (2012);
• "Avengers: Infinity War" (2018);
• "Avengers: Endgame" (2019);
• "Loki" (2021);
• "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" (2021);
• "Spider-Man: No Way Home" (2021);
• "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" (2022);
• "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" (2022);
• "Deadpool & Wolverine" (2024);
• "Captain America: Brave New World" (2025);
• "Thunderbolts*" (2025);
• "Fantastic Four: First Steps" (2025).

This choice is related to the plot of "Avengers: Doctor Doom", which will pit heroes from three universes against a common threat in the person of Victor von Doom, played by Robert Downey Jr.

From Fox films, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, James Marsden, Rebecca Romijn, Alan Cumming, and Kelsey Grammer will return, reprising their roles as Professor X, Magneto, Cyclops, Mystique, Nightcrawler, and Beast.

The main Marvel Cinematic Universe will be represented by Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd, Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Simu Liu, and Tom Hiddleston. Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach will return to their roles as the Fantastic Four.

"Avengers: Doctor Doom" is scheduled to premiere on December 18, 2026.
