Expression Games has released the first hotfix for the military shooter Hell Let Loose: Vietnam, responding to player feedback. The update primarily aims to improve server stability, enhance the server browser, and fix several technical issues on PC and PlayStation 5.

On PC, developers have made additional changes to improve stability for systems with AMD GPUs. Server crashes that could occur when sending messages via RCON or using NVA Tunnels have also been fixed.

One of the main changes is a redesigned server browser. It will now refresh automatically more frequently to more accurately display the current number of available slots. Fully populated servers will no longer be shown in the list by default, although players can find them by changing filters if needed.

Additionally, the browser algorithm now prioritizes servers with low ping and a maximum of 80 players. This should make it easier to find matches with available slots and reduce waiting times before connecting.

Expression Games also continues to increase the number of official servers in all regions to handle the load and meet player demand.

On PS5, developers have fixed an annoying audio issue where sound could completely disappear for a period of time.

Full list of fixes:

  • improved game stability for AMD GPU users
  • added additional official servers in all regions
  • further server stability fixes implemented
  • server browser now refreshes automatically more frequently
  • full servers are hidden from the list by default;
  • browser algorithm prioritizes servers with low ping and 80 or fewer players
  • fixed server crashes when sending messages via RCON and using NVA Tunnels
  • on PS5, fixed an issue with temporary audio disappearance
