Creators of SOMA and Amnesia promised to show new footage of their upcoming horror game ONTOS at gamescom 2026

The game was supposed to be released by the end of this year, but Frictional Games postponed it to 2027.

The sci-fi horror game ONTOS will remind us of itself again next week. The game from the creators of SOMA and Amnesia from Frictional Games studio will appear at the Gamescom 2026 Opening Night Live ceremony.

ONTOS was originally supposed to be released earlier, but in July, the developers announced a postponement of the release to 2027. Now the project is preparing for a new demonstration, which will likely allow fans to see fresh footage from the game.

Gamescom 2026 Opening Night Live will take place on August 25. The broadcast will begin at 9:00 PM Moscow time.
