Marvel Studios is preparing several new live-action series for Disney+. This was reported by Puck journalist Julia Alexander, citing her own sources. Details about the projects themselves are not yet available, but the first announcements, according to her, may be made soon.
A suitable opportunity will arise on October 8 at New York Comic Con. On this day, Marvel will hold a joint panel of its television and animation divisions dedicated to upcoming Disney+ series.
The information appeared shortly after Collider reported that Marvel, on the contrary, was going to reduce the number of expensive live-action series after "Vision's Quest." However, it was about reduction, not a complete abandonment of new shows. The restrictions will also not affect continuations of already launched projects, including the third season of "Daredevil: Born Again."
At the same time, the studio may bet on smaller-scale mini-series and special issues under the Marvel Spotlight and Marvel Presents brands. Earlier, insiders reported that this format is being considered, among other things, for stories about individual X-Men.
