Ewan McGregor suggested Dave Filoni bring back Yoda in the second season of "Obi-Wan Kenobi"
The actor continues to offer his ideas in hopes of getting a sequel into development.
Ewan McGregor has already shared an idea for the second season of "Obi-Wan Kenobi" with Lucasfilm President Dave Filoni. During an informal conversation, the actor suggested telling the story of the Jedi's attempts to reconnect with Yoda after the events of "Revenge of the Sith":
"It was a completely casual conversation, but I said there absolutely has to be some story here. Yoda is somewhere far away. After Episode III, we went our separate ways to different corners of the galaxy, and Obi-Wan hasn't been in touch with him since. I think we could tell a story about him trying to reach out to him."
After "Revenge of the Sith," the paths of the two Jedi diverged. Obi-Wan went to Tatooine to watch over Luke Skywalker, while Yoda hid on Dagobah. McGregor's idea would allow for another story to be told between the prequels and the original trilogy.

However, there is no real progress with the second season yet. Recently, in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, McGregor admitted that he had not heard of any movement from Lucasfilm, although he still hopes to return to the role.
