
"One Piece" to Get Two New Films - The First Will Tell the Story of the God Valley Incident
The releases will be timed to coincide with the anniversaries of Eiichiro Oda's manga and its anime adaptation.
At the close of One Piece Day '26, the creators of "One Piece" announced two new full-length anime films. Along with the announcement, a short teaser featuring the logos of both films was presented.
One Piece Film: God Valley will be released in Japanese cinemas in the summer of 2027 and will be timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of Eiichiro Oda's original manga. The film will be dedicated to the God Valley Incident, which occurred 38 years before the main story began, when Gol D. Roger and Monkey D. Garp joined forces against Rocks D. Xebec, and the island itself disappeared from world maps.
One Piece Film: BAAD will be released in 2029 and will be a release for the 30th anniversary of the "One Piece" anime adaptation. The plot and other details have not yet been revealed.
