Nintendo, overjoyed after Trump's tariffs refund, holds a major sale

Some items received unprecedented discounts for Nintendo, up to 30%.

Nintendo of America announced a massive sale, dedicated to thanking players for supporting the company. As part of the promotion, dozens of digital games and bundles for Nintendo Switch will be available with discounts of up to 30%, and savings can also be made on select physical editions, add-ons, accessories, amiibo, and branded apparel.

The sale will run from September 13 to 26 in the Nintendo eShop, Nintendo Store, and at participating retail sellers. The specific list of products and discount sizes may vary depending on the store and platform.

Nintendo separately revealed the reason why it was able to hold such a large-scale promotion. According to the company, the sale was made possible in part due to the reimbursement of customs costs associated with the Trump administration's tariffs.
