Jasper Ambrose to Play Colin Creevey in Second Season of "Harry Potter" Series

The adaptation of "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" will introduce viewers to new Hogwarts students.

Jasper Ambrose has been cast as Colin Creevey in the second season of HBO's "Harry Potter." The young actor previously appeared in "Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy" and "The Case of the Missing Sheep."

The continuation of the series will adapt J.K. Rowling's second book. Harry, Ron, and Hermione will return to school, where attacks on students will begin, and a mysterious inscription will announce the opening of the Chamber of Secrets. The heroes will also meet new students and teachers. Among them will be Colin Creevey, Gilderoy Lockhart, played by Kit Harington, and others.

The first season of "Harry Potter" will be released on December 25, 2026, on HBO and HBO Max. The release dates for the second season have not yet been disclosed, but its premiere is expected no later than the second half of 2028.
