One of the most popular mods for the original game increased the time allotted to complete the main campaign.

One of the most discussed features of The Blood of Dawnwalker remains the time-limit system. Even before its release, it caused mixed reactions, and on the day of its launch, the most popular modification was the one that completely removed the timer from the game.

Amidst Rebel Wolves job postings indicating the development of a sequel, Eurogamer asked studio director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz if the time mechanic would return in the next installment. According to him, there is no final decision yet.

Honestly, we haven't decided yet. We will experiment with it. If we have parts of the story or the entire story where it fits, we will use it. If there are stories where it doesn't fit, we won't force it.

The developer noted that the team primarily wants to use the system to enhance the sense of urgency in specific events. However, Rebel Wolves does not intend to necessarily carry over the same structure or time loop into every subsequent game.

Moreover, the studio is also considering other unusual ideas that could distinguish future RPGs from Rebel Wolves from typical genre representatives.

We are also considering and exploring some other crazy ideas that could make the RPG genre different and surprise people in the future.
