Father of Schoolboy Who Spent $118,000 on YouTube Ads with Corporate Credit Card Fired from Job

The company demands all money back within 30 days, leading the family to consider selling their home.

The father of nine-year-old blogger Mighty Mike Plays reported losing his job after his son spent $118,000 from a corporate credit card on YouTube advertising campaigns.

Previously, the boy's father, Dave, said that his son used the company's card to promote videos about Minecraft and Roblox. At the time, the man did not know if the employer would demand the money back or if he would be able to keep his job.

Now the situation has become clear. In a new video, Dave announced that he had been fired, and the company is demanding all $118,000 back within 30 days. According to him, if the money is not paid within the specified period, the situation could escalate to legal action.

At the same time, Dave emphasized that he does not intend to launch a GoFundMe, despite numerous suggestions from viewers. He explained this by his desire to deal with the problem himself and try to find a way to return the money without public fundraising.

The family is considering selling their home. In addition, Dave and his son have launched a Mighty Mike merchandise store, where T-shirts will be sold. The funds raised are planned to be used to pay off the debt.
