Perverts and Monsters: Saber Shows New Gameplay Trailer for Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival

The combat system in the game will be brutal and bloody.

Saber Interactive has released a 4-minute video for Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival. In the video, the developers showcased combat, weapons, supernatural abilities, and various ways to survive in the Labyrinth they created.

The combat system promises to be brutal and bloody. Players will be able to use a variety of weapons — from powerful melee options to firearms with explosive ammunition. However, attacks alone will not be enough: during encounters, players will have to dodge enemy blows, search for ammunition and healing items, set traps, and trade resources for upgrades.

Among the enemies, the developers mention cultists, runners, the unworthy, and other creatures inhabiting hell. Each of them will require the player to be cautious and to skillfully use available resources.

A special place in the combat system is occupied by the Genesis Configuration — a mysterious puzzle that grants the hero supernatural abilities. With its help, players can throw various objects at enemies, set them on fire, and use other mystical attacks. By defeating opponents, players will collect their “Suffering,” which will allow them to use even more powerful abilities, such as hellish chains that tear enemies apart.

Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival will be released on October 8 for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch 2.
