8BitDo Opens Pre-Orders for Ultimate 3 and Pro 3 Bluetooth Gamepads in Tomb Raider Style: 30 Years with Lara Croft

In October, the Tomb Raider series will celebrate its 30th anniversary. To commemorate this event, 8BitDo will release special versions of the Ultimate 3 controller for Xbox and the Pro 3 Bluetooth gamepad, paying homage to Lara Croft's dangerous adventures.

Following the relatively recent announcement of the “Cozy Collection” line, 8BitDo has once again teamed up with Xbox to introduce devices dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Tomb Raider series.

The anniversary collection consists of special versions of the 8BitDo Ultimate 3 controller for Xbox and the Pro 3 Bluetooth gamepad, which feature visual designs and tactile elements inspired by the Tomb Raider game franchise.

Both controllers pay homage to Lara Croft, but the Pro 3 gamepad directly references the original Tomb Raider, specifically the “Lost Valley” level, while the Ultimate 3 controller features a design that combines classic and modern interpretations of the character and her story.

The 8BitDo Pro 3 Bluetooth Gamepad — Tomb Raider 30th Anniversary Edition is available for $79.99 (6741 rubles), and the 8BitDo Ultimate 3 Controller — Tomb Raider 30th Anniversary Edition can be purchased for $119.99 (10,112 rubles).

Shipments of these devices will begin on October 24, 2026. From a technical standpoint, they are virtually unchanged compared to the regular versions of the 8BitDo Pro 3 Bluetooth and Ultimate 3 — both still offer the familiar customization options for appearance and controls that are characteristic of 8BitDo products.

The Pro 3 model still features TMR sensor sticks, Hall effect triggers, removable magnetic ABXY button caps, multi-platform compatibility, and a six-axis gyroscope. Additionally, the Tomb Raider Anniversary Edition comes with green and gold stick caps that match the game's theme.

In turn, the Tomb Raider 30th Anniversary Ultimate 3 controller supports 2.4 GHz connectivity, and its charging dock includes a slot for dongle storage. The device features TMR sensor sticks with adjustable tension, Hall effect triggers with a two-position travel limiter, additional L4 and R4 bumpers, a 3.5mm audio jack for pass-through headphone connection, and a six-axis gyroscope.
