Myne to Attend Royal Academy - Fifth Season of "Ascendance of a Bookworm" Announced

The continuation was announced immediately after the fourth season finale.

The anime "Ascendance of a Bookworm" will get a fifth season. The continuation will adapt the fourth part of Miya Kazuki's light novel and send Myne to the Royal Academy. The heroine will enroll there as a candidate for the ruler of the duchy and begin to master mana control, the creation of magical tools, and the spells necessary for a future ruler. However, her studies will be complicated by her passion for books: the academy's huge library risks taking all her attention.

WIT Studio, which replaced Ajia-do after the third season, is once again responsible for the production. Yoshiaki Iwasaki is the director, Mariko Kunisawa is in charge of the series composition, Aiko Minowa is designing the characters, and Michiru is composing the music. The premiere date for the fifth season has not yet been announced.
