(18+) Four Years Later, Kadokawa Reveals Creators of "Rebuild World" Anime and Shows New Poster
The adaptation of the light novel of the same name was announced back in 2023, after which the project disappeared from radars for a long time.
Kadokawa unveiled a new poster for the anime "Rebuild World" and revealed the main production participants. Animation will be handled by Raging Bull studio, which previously assisted in the work on "Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War," "Blue Lock," "The Elusive Samurai," and "Fire Force." Shingo Uchida will serve as director, Tsukasa Sakurai as chief director, and Naoki Tozuka is responsible for the series composition.
The action of "Rebuild World" unfolds amidst the ruins of a highly developed civilization, where hunters extract valuable technologies of the past, encountering ancient security systems and out-of-control biological weapons. One of them is Akira, an orphan from the slums, who hopes to escape poverty this way. During one of his expeditions, he meets Alpha, a mysterious artificial intelligence in the form of a woman. She offers to train and support the young man, but in return asks him to complete a special task.
The anime is based on the light novel of the same name by Nafuse with illustrations by Gin. Despite the emergence of new production details, Kadokawa has not yet revealed the premiere date.
