The creators of the anime "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2" have announced the exact time of the global premiere. All ten episodes of the second season will be released on Netflix on October 20 at 10:00 AM Moscow time.
The sequel will tell a standalone story about four inhabitants of Night City. Mercenary Wick Kingsley has left his past glory behind and is now looking for something to live for, while netrunner Dee tries to find those who destroyed his clan. Their fates will intertwine with the stories of young cinephile Roman Karax and Talia Young — a girl from a corporate family who joined the Maelstrom gang.
Trigger studio is once again responsible for the animation. Kei Ikarashi, who directed the sixth episode of the first season, "Girl on Fire," served as director. The script was written by Masahiko Otsuka in collaboration with Bartosz Sztybor, who returned as showrunner, story author, and producer.
