The time for serious competition has arrived. Rennsport is stepping out of the shadows and will try to conquer the simulator market by getting version 1.0 and a console version.
Rennsport is a racing project from the Polish studio Teyon, which wants to challenge the giants Gran Turismo and Forza Motorsport. Despite a difficult start on PC, the developers continue to develop a realistic simulator.
Initially, Rennsport was planned as a free-to-play game with a basic set of tracks and cars, and additional elements were sold through DLC. Now the game will switch to a classic distribution model and will appear on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in the fourth quarter of 2025, in digital and physical versions.
At the start, players will be able to choose two editions: Standard Edition or Deluxe Edition. The standard version includes 18 cars in 7 categories and 13 tracks in 9 countries (with a pre-order bonus - Ford Mustang GT3). The Deluxe Edition will add a special Rennsport car, the Nürburgring Nordschleife track and two future DLCs: "Endurance Classics Part 1" (2025) and "Touring Classics Part 1" (2026).
Founder's Packs owners will also receive full versions of the game, and the internal currency Renn$ will be transferred to the final version. Active development of e-sports is planned with new leagues, and in the future, VR support is possible, including PlayStation VR2.
