In RE Requiem, players can expect emotional "roller coaster".
Recently, game director of Resident Evil Requiem, Koushi Nakanishi, revealed some features of the project.
The main character, Grace, will initially be completely defenseless and frightened, but this should change over time:
«Throughout the game, there is a kind of tension and release graph, building up to a climax. I think Resident Evil is truly unique among horror games. We don't just scare you — we give you the opportunity to relieve the tension by overcoming it».
Capcom is testing Resident Evil Requiem and trying to imagine what ordinary players might experience:
«....even playing [Requiem] inside the studio, trying to put myself in the players' shoes, I really feel like it's going to be an incredible roller coaster. They will feel that the tension curve from which they need to be released will be... this is probably the biggest gap between these two axes. The points on this curve will be so far apart that it will be simply incredible».
