The developers are approaching the creation of the vampire RPG taking into account past experience.

CDPR veterans from Rebel Wolves studio continue to talk about their work on The Blood of Dawnwalker. Recently, Konrad Tomaszkiewicz spoke with PCGamesN and explained how the team approaches the creation of the game:

«I am grateful to CD Projekt Red because they allowed me to grow as a developer. We learned a lot and do many things differently [at Rebel Wolves].»

«For example, we don't want to become a big company; we want to be "medium". I remember when I was working on the second and third "Witcher", I was part of a small team whose members knew each other very well. Now, working with my team [at Rebel], I work the same way. I don't just sit in the office and wait to be checked, I implement quests and enemies with them, and I see very quickly in which direction the game is developing.»

However, he does not want to criticize large companies, it's just harder to work in them:

«I'm not saying that big companies are wrong, but it's more difficult. When you have 500 people, like when I was working on Cyberpunk 2077, it's very difficult to communicate with everyone and convey your vision to them, and it was very difficult to see the progress and direction of the game's development. What we are doing [at Rebel Wolves] is something new, something fresh, and we are choosing our own path of game development.»
