Coloring Games studio has released the mobile game Pixel Runners: Time Shift. This is an endless arcade platformer with pixel graphics, where the player has to overcome traps, fight enemies, and cope with the complex terrain of the levels.
The key feature of the project is moving between parallel dimensions. If an obstacle seems insurmountable, you can switch to an alternative space, which changes the rhythm of the game and opens up new routes. The mechanics are complemented by time control: slowing down or rewinding helps to avoid dangers and correct mistakes.
The levels in the game are procedurally generated, so each playthrough is unique. Players collect coins to unlock improvements — double jump, shield, magnet, and acceleration. The project also features boss battles — an atypical element for the genre.
