Musical accompaniment is an important part of the game.

The creators of the Russian tactics game Red Recon 1944 (or "Reconnaissance: 1944") have presented a new teaser, this time a musical one.

They decided to talk about working on the soundtrack for the game:

«In films, the timing is known in advance: there are scenes, emotions, and plot twists tied to time. In games, however (excluding staged moments), it is much more difficult to predict the player's behavior: they can rush into a frontal attack, bypass the enemy, or explore the map for hours.

At the same time, musical accompaniment in games plays a special role — it helps to immerse oneself deeper into the atmosphere, feel the mood, and reflect the dynamics of what is happening on the screen. Without it, the modern gaming experience is already difficult to imagine».

Soon, the developers plan to share details about the work of their composer, and in the meantime, they offer to check out the main theme of the training camp near Pskov.
