Easy Delivery Co. will allow you to deliver goods for a salary "below the minimum wage", communicate with boring townspeople, and shop "at exorbitant prices". No secrets or mysteries.
Oro Interactive is preparing to release a delivery simulator in a small town — Easy Delivery Co. from indie developer Sam C. At first glance, it's a peaceful project about driving through quiet streets, but its description looks like it's deliberately trying to confuse players. Perhaps it's not just a story about a courier, but also about a town that keeps its secrets behind a facade of routine.
"Easy Delivery Co. is a peaceful driving simulator with absolutely no secrets or mysteries. You've been hired as a driver for a delivery service in a once-vibrant, picturesque town in the mountains, now suffering from terrible weather. Deliver goods and learn the story of the completely non-mysterious inhabitants of the town, while earning significantly below the minimum wage."
The project's style is deliberately minimalist. The graphics are made in a retro style, the controls are as simple as possible, and a relaxing soundtrack plays in the background.
The game will be released on Steam on September 18. You can now add the project to your wishlist and try out the free demo, which has already received over 1000 reviews, 97% of which are positive.
