After the release of Borderlands 4, complaints from players began to appear online — they are unhappy with the performance of the PC version. Some are trying to solve the problem with mods, but there is an alternative solution.
The author of PC Gamer spoke about Ki11er Six's method to improve the performance of the looter-shooter: "On Nvidia graphics cards, you can manually adjust the shader cache size in the Control Panel. Ki11er Six recommends setting it to 100 GB to avoid stuttering."
The journalist said that the stuttering did not disappear completely, but "in the last 12–13 hours" he encountered exactly "two minor problems" — and both were micro-stuttering that did not ruin the immersion in the game, as it was before.
