Various details regarding the single-player campaign of the shooter Battlefield 6 have appeared online.
- Nine missions set on three continents
- The plot is a complete narrative, not a collection of different stories from Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 5
- The duration of the missions will be from 25 to 40 minutes
- The action of one of the missions will unfold in 2028
- Players will be able to control the Dagger 13 squad, switching between characters with different classes (engineer, scout, and others). Commands can be given through a simplified order system: from calling a smoke screen to flanking maneuvers or reconnaissance
- Players are waiting for a variety of tasks: from tank battles near the Pyramids of Giza in North Africa to battles on the ruined streets of Brooklyn in New York. One of the missions will send a squad of heroes to Gibraltar, where they will have to storm the strategically important "Rock" in the style of the Second World War landing. There will also be a mission in Tajikistan, where the team sabotages a giant hydroelectric power station, causing a devastating flood of water, sweeping away the enemy army
- The campaign combines linear sections with open spaces where you can choose the order of tasks. Special attention is paid to the Operation Ember Strike mission, which is a "sandbox" with complete freedom of action
- After taking heavy damage, the player enters a "wounded" state, as in multiplayer, and can be resurrected by a teammate
- Even if the mission requires the team to split up, one of the teammates will still stay with the player
- An internet connection is required to complete the campaign
- AI partners suffer from various problems
