Advertisements for the sale of modified weapons in Borderlands 4 began to appear online, but it turned out that the demand for such a product is not very high.
Eurogamer journalists were able to speak with one of the sellers, who has not yet been able to record a large profit, but he did not pursue such a goal:
"[things are going] not very successfully. Since the release, I've probably sold three or four copies, which is worth somewhere around £15-20 [1600 - 2200 rubles], which doesn't even cover the cost of producing the weapon, but I'm not doing it for money or profit."
The developers have implemented technical solutions in Borderlands 4 that make it difficult to create the desired weapon build, and the cost of "production" (the necessary data tables from hackers / dataminers) has increased significantly.
Each weapon part has an encrypted value, as does rarity, manufacturer, level, etc., and they report that these tables can be expensive — from 50 to 100 pounds sterling (5-11 thousand rubles).
