Techland has unveiled a long-term support program for Dying Light: The Beast — the new installment in the series that began as an expansion to Dying Light 2 but has become a standalone game. The developers have confirmed that players won't be bored in the coming months.
The company announced a plan for the 11 weeks following the release, including new missions, content, and features. The global event Call of the Beast already started on October 16 and will run until January 4, 2026. Every Thursday, new challenges and rewards will be added to the game.
As part of the event, players from around the world complete common goals that require coordination and endurance. Participation earns unique prizes — from rare weapons to exclusive car skins. If the community completes at least 17 out of 22 tasks, all participants will receive a legendary reward. And if they manage to complete 20 challenges, bonuses will be given to everyone who participated at least once.
Techland is also preparing a series of updates that improve replayability and endgame: New Game+ mode, Legend levels, a new difficulty level, as well as new executions and finishers will appear. Among the technical innovations are support for ray tracing on PC and a crossover with PUBG Mobile.
