Developer KUNOS Simulazioni announced at the SimRacing Expo 2025 conference that the Assetto Corsa franchise has collectively sold over 20 million copies. Studio head Marco Massarutto noted that the count includes all sales since 2013, when the first Assetto Corsa was released in early access.
He emphasized that the success is due not only to the physics, visual effects, sound, gameplay, and modding, but above all to the close connection between developers and the community.
Against this backdrop, Assetto Corsa Rally for PC was announced with an early access release on November 13, 2025. The game will feature ten licensed cars, a day/night cycle, changing weather, and 33 km of fully laser-scanned roads in the locations of Asaaq and Wales. Among the cars are: Lancia Stratos Gr.4 (1976), Fiat 131 Abarth Gr.4 (1976), and Peugeot 208 Rally4 (2020).
The developers plan to expand to 30 cars, a full-fledged career mode, and over 120 km of meticulously recreated tracks. EVO continues to receive updates based on community feedback.
