Retroid was surprised to discover that rapper Soulja Boy has started selling the SouljaGame Flip portable console. The device completely replicates the design, characteristics, and functionality of the Pocket Flip 2, while its cost is twice the price of the original console from Retroid.
American rapper Soulja Boy has once again surprised the gaming community. On his website, you can now purchase the SouljaGame Flip portable console for $436.50 (35,463 rubles), which is definitely a clone of Retroid Pocket Flip 2.
It has an SD865 chip, 8 GB of RAM, Android 13 operating system, a 5.5-inch AMOLED screen (1080p), a 5000 mAh battery, and active cooling.
The device page also features images copied from the official Retroid website.
Employees of the Retro Dodo portal spoke with representatives of Retroid and learned that Soulja Boy does not have permission to rebrand Retroid products and sell them under his own brand. Retroid has already patented the Pocket Flip 2 in the United States.
For comparison, you can now purchase the Retroid Pocket Flip 2 for $209 (16,980 rubles), so even fans of the rapper should think twice before buying the SouljaGame Flip.
