An AMD FX-9590 processor, released over 10 years ago, has proven capable of running Battlefield 6 at an average of 30–40 FPS in 1080p resolution with a Radeon RX 5700 8GB graphics card. The experiment was conducted by YouTuber "Fully Buffered," who tested older processors on the new game, comparing the FX-9590 to the Intel Core i7-2600K.
The Intel processor failed to launch Battlefield 6 due to lack of Secure Boot support, while the FX-9590 handled it without issues. This demonstrates that the game is optimized even for older hardware and minimum system requirements. TPM 2.0 support is not mandatory for launch, but Secure Boot is critical.
The combination of FX-9590 and Radeon RX 5700 maintained an average frame rate of around 35 FPS, sometimes rising above 40 FPS at 1080p. The processor load reached 98% at a frequency of 4.65 GHz, making the result impressive for such an old CPU.
