After a series of delays, the expansion has finally reached players.
On November 26, the creators of Mount & Blade II Bannerlord released the premium War Sails expansion. It brings new gameplay mechanics to the game — you can participate in naval battles. The game introduces 18 types of ships.
For the new battle system, a "realistic physical model of wind and water" has been implemented: you can not only bombard ships from afar, but also ram them, and also board them from several points.
Naval battles also affect sieges: now the army will be able to bring a fleet with them and establish a blockade to prevent the besieged city from being supplied by sea.
The Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord - War Sails expansion has received "very positive" reviews from players on Steam.
