The developers have prepared new content, with even more on the way.
The creators of the real-time strategy game Tempest Rising have released an update with new content. The game now features superweapons: a drone strike station for the "Global Defense Forces" and an excavator platform for the "Tempest Dynasty."
In addition, the developers have begun testing the third playable faction for Tempest Rising: "Veti".
Beta participants can play as Veti in multiplayer, with the following content available:
- 9 buildings
- 7 vehicles
- 6 infantry units and 5 air units
- 5 defensive structures, 5 specialists, and one superweapon
The developers described Veti's mechanics: the faction can subdue enemy infantry. After death, weakened enemies rise as "Enlightened," Veti's slaves. They can become "sacred sacrifices" and make Veti's troops "sanctified," allowing them to gain new abilities.
Access to the Tempest Rising beta is available through the game's "Properties" in Steam, in the beta versions section.
