Norwegian studio Red Thread Games is gradually introducing players to its new project.
Megabit Publishing has unveiled a new trailer for Hello Sunshine, a mystical survival simulator with RPG elements from the creators of Dustborn. The video features in-engine scenes and the first few seconds of gameplay.
Players will have to gather resources, craft items, upgrade equipment, piece together the history of the fallen world, and survive in the devastated lands, hiding from the scorching sun in the shadow of a giant robot. On cold nights, you'll have to stay close to it to avoid freezing.
At first, the colossus barely notices the hero, but over time it becomes a reliable ally: helping to find caches, overcome obstacles, and repel attacks from hostile machines. The robot can be upgraded by installing sensors, protective systems, and cosmetic improvements - from paint to stickers. The project can be completed either alone or in a co-op for two.
Hello Sunshine will be released on PC, the release date has not yet been announced.
