The full-length sequel to \"Chainsaw Man\" will soon be available for home viewing.
After a successful run in theaters, the anime \"Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc\" is preparing for a digital release. Sony Pictures Releasing has announced that the film will be available for purchase and rental on Apple TV, Prime Video, and Fandango at Home starting December 9, 2025. Later, the film will be available for viewing on the Crunchyroll streaming service.
The film continues the plot of the first season of \"Chainsaw Man,\" adapting chapters 38–52 of Tatsuki Fujimoto's manga. The story centers on Denji's meeting with a mysterious girl, Reze, who becomes for him the embodiment of the normal life he has always dreamed of. However, behind the seeming idyll lies a new danger that turns the hero's world upside down.
According to Rotten Tomatoes, \"Reze Arc\" has received 96% positive reviews from critics and 98% audience approval — one of the best scores among anime films in recent years.
The Russian premiere took place on December 4. The film had a strong start at the box office: in its first weekend, \"Reze Arc\" grossed 61.5 million rubles, taking 29% of the total box office in the domestic market and bringing the total gross in Russia to 76.8 million rubles. Versions with both voice acting and subtitles are available in cinemas.
