The first installment of the Survival Trilogy from Crystal Dynamics will arrive on smartphones with new content.
Feral Interactive has announced the mobile version of Tomb Raider (2013), the first installment of the so-called Survival Trilogy, for iOS and Android devices. The release is scheduled for February 12, 2026.
The mobile version will include all the content of the original edition, including 12 downloadable add-ons. In addition, the developers will add a number of new elements not found in the console and PC releases. These include additional skills, weapon upgrades, alternative Lara skins, and a bonus challenge tomb.
Adapted touch screen controls, gamepad, keyboard and mouse support are declared. Feral Interactive emphasizes that the mobile version will maintain a high level of visual performance.
The announcement was accompanied by a gameplay teaser, which generated a noticeable response from the audience. In the comments, many viewers thanked the studio for their attention to mobile gamers, noted the systematic release of "high-quality ports" and even called Feral the "savior of mobile gaming."
The studio already has significant experience in adapting large projects for smartphones. Over the years, the company has released mobile versions of games in the Total War, Hitman and Tomb Raider series, as well as other projects, often in an expanded form. For example, in Total War: Empire, the developers increased the list of available factions compared to the original PC version — from 11 to 55.
The release of Tomb Raider on mobile platforms continues this strategy. The company has not yet revealed plans to port the remaining parts of the trilogy, but in the comments under the teaser, users are actively expressing their desire to see other well-known franchises on smartphones as well.
